Becoming a translator was something of an accident, I have always loved languages and started to translate as a hobby, it seemed to go well together with my passion for reading, soon friends would ask me to help them out with translating documents and intepreting for them with local authorities, this resulted in Spanish businesses and professionals asking me to translate from Spanish to English and soon found that this was becoming a profession good help for my translations is my main hobby Literature. Reading, already as a very young child, helped me acquire and command a good & diverse vocabulary, necessary to find exactly the word to describe what you want to say.

My interests are widespread and Litarature is my main hobby, giving me advantagious qualifications to understand your needs & intent for the texts to be translated and portait them best in the required language/s

I have been resident in the North of Tenerife for 20 years, I trained as a secretary am fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and German, and have pretty good computer skills as well. I have been translating professionally for the past 5 years, before that I had several shops, worked for a Spanish Real Estate, Building and Promotions company, gave an English activities class in a Spanish school, in between I had my own children and along with my German husband bought and sold a few properties.
